Belle's Kitchen, Rathmullen, July 2009

last year she and i sat in a very large baobab tree and watched the sun set. about four hours later we realised that the people at the campsite would be worried about us and reluctantly we climbed down and walked back up the dusty road. sitting in Belle's Kitchen last week, it felt like time was suspended. i was back in the baobab tree and in the cafe all at once. i realised that no matter the setting, a true friend, has the ability to see beyond your eyes and into your soul.

These photos make me miss Ireland. A lot.

Also, her eyes smile the same way yours do. Are you related?

that's what i was thinking. you do look a lot alike from what i've seen of you.

So true! And we're so lucky if we have someone in our lives that sees us in this way. Savour and enjoy every moment together! Actually, I already know you are.
